- Kiosk - there is no place to sit or sitting arrangements are shared with other establishments. Sometimes located in food courts or squeezed in between other shops
- Drive-thru - small outlet with few places to sit or tables very close together. High volume of traffic also makes this place not a good place to sit and eat. Get you sub and get out.
- Lunch-stop - average sized outlet. A good size crowd but with places to sit even during lunchtime. Good place to sit and eat, better still during off-peak periods. Most likely with fresh veges due to high traffic. Sometimes may run out of certain breads.
- Family Restaurant - larger outlet that may seem to be too big. Crowds can be large but won't feel crowded. Or it can feel deserted during low period. Great place to sit and read while enjoying your sandwich
